The Word of God makes it clear, "God inhabits the praises of His people". And so, may our worship and praise be pleasing unto Him. At Greater Hope, God is our audience and truly knowing Him is our ultimate goal. Our passion in the Music/Worship ministry is a commitment to growing our hearts towards God and teaching our congregation the importance of worshiping the Father in truth and in spirit. Music, whether vocal or instrumental, is our vehicle to achieve this goal.
At Greater Hope we want to worship God with our hearts. We use a mixture of music and don't consider ourselves to be "traditional" or "contemporary," we just worship Him. We also want you to have the freedom at Greater Hope to worship God however you feel comfortable. Some clap, some don't. Some raise holy hands, some don't. It's ok here, as long as you feel comfortable worshipping God, our music ministry has accomplished its goal.
If you have a heart or interest or passion for music and you sense that this is the place you want to serve, please don't hesitate to jump right in. I know you will find open arms within our various groups. No matter your level of skill, Greater Hope has a place for you. I hope you will prayerfully consider being a part of our Music/Worship team.
